This painting was done as a commision for one of my husbands doctors and our friend Mack Rogers.It is painted with acrylic paint, followed by oil glazes The river is the Buskin river in Kodiak, Alaska on crisp sunny fall day in the early morning. If you've ever had the privelege to go fishing in the fall in Alaska, nothing but the sound of the river, a slight mist coming up from the water, the sun barely peaking through the autumn leaves,than you know the feeling of joy I felt painting this. As for the,"tug on the line", BRING IT!
